The landscape of Mill Hill School is characterised by the terraces. These have been added to throughout its history in order to allow for the development of the School. In 1926 the pupils actually helped with the levelling of earth. Top Terrace is the most evocative and at the heart of the School and indeed the Foundation.
Top Terracers are at the heart of the Foundation Appeal and of the long-term fundraising strategy of the Foundation. Over the years Top Terracers will widen access to the Foundation Schools through the provision of bursaries and unlock funds for the building programme. Each Top Terracer can select where to allocate his/her gift.
Membership of the Top Terracers is awarded to those who commit to a minimum gift of £5,000 and gifts can qualify for Gift Aid thus increasing the value to the Foundation to £6,250. This covers an initial four year period of membership. The £5,000 can be made as a one-off donation or by commitment to four annual payments of £1,250 or 48 monthly payments of £104.17.
