Annual Fund 2008-09
The Annual Fund 2008/09 was an outstanding success with every project being funded and, in most cases, now in place.
Former pupils and current parents generously supported the projects enabling current pupils and future generations of Millhillians to enjoy equipment and facilities such as the science garden at Grimsdell, an electronic weather station and a new high jump mat at Belmont, a new rugby scrummage machine and the music recording environment at Mill Hill.
Replicas of the standard fuchsias that used to stand on Top Terrace many years ago have been reinstated and the young people at Alford House have a brand new digital camera to capture memorable moments.
On the back of this success, we have a new and exciting list of projects for 2009/10, details of which can either be found here or in the Annual Fund 2009/10 booklet.
Many of our donors have wholly supported individual projects while others have made small, regular donations which, when combined with other similar gifts, have financed larger projects.
Plaques can be seen around the Foundation identifying each completed project.
We very much hope this demonstrates that a gift of any size will make a difference to our Schools. There is a significant impact on the quality of educational facilities we can provide our pupils with through relatively modest investment.
